Please wait until you receive notification through email or phone informing you that your items are available for pickup. Due to our extended closure, there is a backlog of materials on hold. We are working quickly to get these items ready for you to pick up. Thank you for your patience.
Library staff will place materials on a cart next to the entrance at your pick up time. Materials checked out during this period will have the standard three-week checkout period for books and one week for DVDs/BLU Rays.
To ensure the safety of other patrons and our staff, please return all items to the outside book drop. You are welcome to return any media or inter-library loan items in the book drop as well.
We are not accepting donations of materials at this time.
The phased reopening approach of the Castroville Public Library focuses on the vast amount of considerations needed to ensure that the library environment is physically and psychologically safe for staff and patrons. All phases are subject to change upon the WHO, CDC, and governor’s recommendations. At this time, we do not know when the doors will open to the public, but we will continue to communicate changes as they occur.
If you have any questions, please contact the Library staff Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 5 pm.
