Summer Reading

The theme for the 2020 Collaborative Summer Library Program is"Imagine Your Story"

Calling all readers!
What it is: Every summer, the Castroville Public Library hosts a Summer Reading program for kids who love to read! This year, it is going to look just a little different. 

Who can participate: Kids under the age of 18 who can read. Parents, if your child can’t read yet, you can read to your child!

How it works:

1.   Sign up for the reading program using the form on this page!
2.   Print off a log to track how much you read during the summer. On the reading log,         
       please write the name of the book you read and the AR points from the book. You'll need to have 20 AR points to complete your form. You can find AR points information at              
3.   Email your completed form to by August 28th to be eligible
       for a prize.
4.   We’ll email you with details of how to claim your prize and when to pick it up.
