Search for books, audiobooks, e-books, DVDs, and Blu-Rays in our collection using our online catalog. You can also log in using your library card number and phone number as password to renew, reserve, and request items.

Libby

Download the free Libby app on your smartphone, tablet, or e-reader to access 21,000+ e-books and audiobooks 24/7. Once downloaded, search for Lone Star Digital Library, select Castroville Public Library, sign in with your library card number, and use your phone number as a password. If you have problems with logging in, contact library staff. You can check out eight digital titles at a time and place up to 20 holds on items currently checked out by other users. Once checked out, Libby e-books and audiobooks can be enjoyed from the app or downloaded so you can access them even when you don't have an internet connection. Digital items can be borrowed for up to two weeks. They return automatically, so you never have to worry about late fees. You can also access Lone Star Digital Library straight from your browser. TexShare Database

TexShare is a cooperative program designed to improve library service to Texans. TexShare focuses on the efficient sharing of library holdings, with an emphasis on electronic information resources and traditional collections of books and journals. To access the TexShare Database, simply visit the online catalog, log in using your library card and phone number as password, and click on the TexShare icon.
