Trash & Recycling Servicedownload

STRD is now the official trash and recycling provider for the City of Castroville. This change means all homes and businesses in town are serviced by STRD for weekly trash and recycling pickup. Each household receives one trash cart and one recycling cart, both linked to your account.

Service days remain on a set schedule, divided by zone, so your pickup day should feel familiar and reliable. If you’re ever unsure of your service day, need an extra cart, or have questions about bulk or brush pickup, the Public Works Team is here to help at (830) 931-4070.

Bulk and Brush 

The City of Castroville offers on-call bulk and brush collection for residents. This service is designed for items that are too large to fit in your regular trash cart, such as furniture, appliances, or yard debris.

  • Service is available by request only (not part of the weekly trash route).

  • Each pickup may include up to 8 cubic yards of material.

Please place items neatly at the curb in an accessible location on the scheduled day.
