Residential Weekly Curbside Collection

Trash and recycling in Castroville are picked up once a week by STRD. Service days are divided by zones in town:

• Trash Pickup
  • Tuesday (Green) -- West of FM 471 & North of Hwy 90
  • Thursday (Purple) -- East of FM 471 & South of Hwy 90
• Recycling Pickup 
  • Wednesday -- Citywide

Please have your carts out by 6:00 a.m. on your service day and remove them from the curb once collection is complete.

Each cart has a unique serial number linked to your account, which helps us track and recover carts if they are ever lost or stolen.

For smooth service, please place carts at the curb with at least 3 feet of clearance from mailboxes, fences, vehicles, or other carts. Lids should be fully closed to avoid spillage during collection.
