Castroville Public Library Camps 2022
Registration begins MAY 21ST at 10:30 am UNTIL ALL SPOTS ARE FULL!
CPL Summer Camps are recommended for children and teens in 3rd-8th grade. Our sessions offer participants the chance to have fun and learn something new. You must register each child/teen individually at the Castroville Public Library. All registrants will receive camp participation info. CPL will be featuring six camps with a limited space of 10 campers per session. For any other questions, please get in touch with the library. All summer camps are Monday-Friday from 10:30-2:30, with lunch and snacks provided.
Each camp is $15, and cash only is accepted for the registration fee.
June 6-10 Moviemaking. Lights, camera, action. Channel your inner actor and star in a film that you helped create.
June 13-16 Harry Potter. Calling all wizards and witches! This magical week will be full of potions, sorcery, and Quidditch.
June 20-24 Ocean Wonders. Is it your dream to become a marine biologist? Come on a journey of investigation from the shores to the depths of the sea.
June 27-July 1 World Explorer. Do you want to travel around the world? Then, join us for an around-the-globe expedition!
July 11-15 Space Camp. Dreaming of space exploration? Join us for a five-day out of this world adventure!
July 18-22 Art Camp. Learn the basics of art using different mediums to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
Summer Meals
Castroville Public Library participates in the San Antonio Food Bank Summer Meals program from June 6th-August 12th. Kids 18 and younger can stop by the library Monday-Friday from 12:00-2:00 for a free lunch and 3:30-4:30 for a free snack. Meals are given out on a first-come basis. No registration or id is required.
